Sitting, staring blankly
Out my shattered windshield heart
Consumed by pollution
Exhaust – tion
Filth-ridden, smoggy world
Steeples are planted flags
Demarking individuality
Distinction, separation
The brakes worn thin
As momentum carries the steel beast
The wrecked ravaging machine
Ever-forward, tramping, stampeding
To its whore of licentiousness
Away from its bride – Madam Wisdom
