Yes the BBC is the news staple. I flip to CNN occassionally, because it is updated more frequently and more on real-time, but the articles lack the professional feel of the BBC. Also CNN does not provide the same kind of background that BBC spends the time doing and providing links for. BBC is far more interactive and enjoyable. NPR "Morning Edition" is the audio news staple for me, sometimes "All Things Considered" also.
