Today is the third anniversary of the murder of Rachel Corrie in Palestine [hat tip Gringo].

I have the greatest respect for those activists who are willing to put their lives on the line for what they believe. Rachel Corrie did exaclty that.

But in reality the more important thing is that the Israeli government murdered a peace activist, and there were no repercussions. And few people really cared. As Gringo said:

I think it's sad but I also think it imperative, a must, we not forget her, her mission, and what and why it happened.
